My kids’ classrooms always have holiday parties this time of year when we are encouraged to send cards or small treats for their class. I wish that stores sold little cards in the winter, like they do on Valentine’s day, but I don’t ever see Christmas cards for the classroom sold in sets. So I asked Eddie to help me design one sheet of paper that we could just print on our computer at home year after year and attach miniature candy canes or holiday themed pencils. Penny came home from preschool this week with this adorable candy cane thumbprint gift she made with her class. 

She decided to give hers to my mom, who moved in with us this year. I thought it was adorable and such a thoughtful gift to make with kids because it can actually be used all year, not just around the holidays. I’m not sure where our teacher found this idea, I searched Google and Pinterest and the closest thing I could find was this post.
