We have an Elf on the Shelf who visits our house every year. Our elf’s name is Chris T. Mas. That’s the name Nick gave him as a toddler. (If you have some how avoided knowing what that is, you can see it through my Amazon affiliate link here:Elf on the Shelf:A Christmas Tradition ) The elf sits on a shelf and watches the kids during the day, then at night he flies home to Santa to report what he saw, and in the morning he is in a new spot around the house. There is also a rhyming book that tells his story. Some families’ elves get very fancy and do lots of morning shenanigans, but our elf is pretty lazy. He basically just hops around from the mantle over to the Christmas tree and back again. If you have a lazy elf too, then this post is for you.
