You might have noticed that Get Skinny Saturday has gone missing for the past few weeks. Since my weight loss journey wasn’t going as expected, I didn’t think it was an efficient use of my time to keep writing about gaining or losing less than half a pound each week. Maybe I’ll bring it back in earnest in a few months when the conference is over I can concentrate a little more earnestly on the weight loss.
For now, I’m going to start using my weekend blog posts to highlight small businesses that I love.
A few weeks ago, I told you about Sunrise Soap Company.
Today I want to tell you about Feeling Loved, which is a business run over Facebook by one of my readers. Stephanie wrote to me and asked if I would be willing to try her jewelry and tell you guys about it if I liked it.
To which I replied, “ARE YOU KIDDING? YOU WANT TO SEND ME PERSONALIZED JEWELRY JUST IN TIME FOR MOTHER’S DAY?! YAY!!!”
Obviously, I took her up on her offer. Stephanie sent me this beautiful necklace, personalized with my children’s names and birthstones. It’s stainless steel and hand stamped. I like that it won’t tarnish like silver and I can just clean it with stainless steel wipes.
I also love that the the Feeling Loved jewelery pieces are very affordable. Prices start at just $25. Then each add-on piece (like the birth stones in the middle of my necklace) is $5.
You get to design your own custom piece of jewelry. How cool is that? Here are some other designs people have done.
A key chain could make a great Father’s Day gift. I really liked the idea behind this Coast Guard inspired one.
And how cute would this be to give a Girl Scout leader at the end of the year?
Jewelry can be also special way to remember someone who has passed on.
This might be my favorite idea, turning the lyrics to “your song” into a bracelet. Wouldn’t you love to open this on your anniversary? Hint, hint, gentlemen.
You have to click over to see the necklaces inspired by the song “Let It Go” in the movie Frozen. My girls would freak out over those!
There are also ID bracelets for kids or pets. I really liked the cute options for allergy bracelets.
To place an order, just head over to the Feeling Loved Facebook page and send Stephanie a private message describing what you’d like. She’ll give you a quote and get started on your custom piece.
Please note that it is probably too late to receive a custom order by Mother’s Day, but these make great birthday, bridal & baby shower, and end of the school year gifts as well!
Disclosure: I received the necklace pictured above in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own.

Wow! I love the necklace she sent you and so many of the other pieces. The bracelet is lovely too. I may have a birthday idea now for my oldest daughter. Her birthday is a while away, but I will keep it in the back of my mind!
What classy gorgeous stuff! Perfect gift for a mom!
This jewelry is amazing! I want all of it!!! I especially loved the necklace for someone who has passed on. My sister lost her baby last year, and that would be a beautiful way to always remember that her son is in God’s hands, but always in her heart.
how do I purchase a necklace from you?
Hi Lisa,
I am not the person who sells these necklaces. I am just telling my readers about them. Visit the Feeling Loved Facebook page to purchase and send her a private message to place an order.
