We told you about Mom Shaming.
Now It’s time for Bully Shaming. Toulouse and Tonic is calling out the bullies with a new trend called Bully Shaming, although it’s more about empowering the victim than stooping to the bully’s level.
You can go to the Bully Shaming Facebook page to add your own photo. Here’s mine.
Yes, there was a bully in our first grade class who actually did choke me while we were standing in line and, on a different occasion, stab me with a pencil. Little brat. He didn’t just pick on me, he was mean to everyone. My mom had a conference with the teacher about it, but nothing really changed. The next year my mom went back to work at a private school and took me with her so I didn’t have to deal with him any more, or any bullies really. You might not be super popular when your mom works at your school, but you don’t really get picked on either.
On a lighter note, there is another shaming trend going around, this time holiday-themed. Have you visited the Elf Shaming website yet? You can send in a picture of your Elf on the Shelf doing naughty things. My elf is being featured today. He ate my husband’s ice cream, which is pretty tame compared to some of the very naughty things other elves are doing over there.

Thanks for joining in, Steph! I love the way you turned your story around into a triumph for you. This is great bully shaming. Thank you!
THANK YOU for doing this. I’m sure you will help countless kids who are being bullied right now. 🙂
