This week I am doing something a little bit different. It’s Dutch Oven Week! (I know, the name makes me giggle too. But this is not the kind of dutch oven where you trap your partner under the covers.)
I’m featuring an entire line-up of one pot meals using my favorite pot, my Le Creuset dutch oven. Although I am partial to my Le Creuset, any dutch oven will do. I’ve also heard great things about the Lodge.
I have a few special guests planned for you later this week and I’m super excited to introduce you to some real-life friends of mine who also happen to be big foodies.
Meanwhile, here in Pennsylvania it is still freezing cold and we are supposed to be getting even more snow tonight. So, I thought I would start off Dutch Oven week by featuring one of my favorite cold weather recipes- Pennsylvania Dutch Chicken Corn Soup.
Chicken Corn Soup is traditional in our area. Usually it has egg noodles in it, but I have made a few changes to “healthy it up” a bit.
