Today I miss my husband and our kids miss their daddy.
He’s away for the next three months or so, but I believe that he was sent on this trip to help us remember and appreciate all of the things he is to us….
Like a loving and committed husband
and a man who agreed to father a child he had not conceived
and does it SO well
the one who keeps us from taking ourselves too seriously
and uses his example to show his daughter what she deserves from a man
a man with a strong commitment to his family
and a stronger commitment to his faith
Abraham Lincoln said, “No man stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child.” Eddie, you’re the tallest man I know.
