Another Saturday is upon us.
I’m off at my BFF’s bridal shower with a certain sassy future flower girl.
I would call this week “meh” in terms of the weight loss effort.
I had a ton of professional obligations come up, and Eddie needed to work late a few nights too.
Plus, early in the week the kids were sick with a stomach virus, so it was hard for me to get back on the exercise train.
(Read: I did not exercise once.)
How pitiful is this?
Also, I had my period.
Also, I took the kids to the grocery store with me right before lunch in the middle of the week, which was stupid, and I let them talk me into buying a ton of junk food, since they finally felt like eating again.
BUT, I did not gain weight.
So there’s that.
The scale was still holding steady at 176.4 when I weighed myself yesterday, which is exactly where it was last week.

I’m glad I decided to do this series on the blog because it is definitely holding me accountable to look back and realize that I could have done a lot more on weeks like this, for sure, to lose weight.
But who wants to be counting their own calories while they are busy cleaning up other people’s puke?
Life happens.
Hopefully I’ll get back on track soon and skinny can happen eventually too.
