Well…we did it.
It’s been a month.
I put up the first Get Skinny Saturday on Jan. 4th.
This week I can’t say I did very much. I was really sick for a while, went to the doctor, got a positive strep test, and started some antibiotics.
I didn’t exercise at all this week, but, since my throat was really sore, I also didn’t eat all that much.
I did make my Healthy Orange Chicken for dinner one night and my mom and I had quinoa and spinach for lunch one day.
That was pretty much the extent of my weight loss efforts. My husband was in charge of dinner most nights, and I slept a lot.
Although, I did continue to drink mostly water and avoid white sugar. But I had pasta a few times.
Meh. Basically, I just gave myself a break and rested and didn’t focus too much on the weight loss stuff.
I did still lose weight. Not a ton, but some.
I’m currently weighing in at 175.8 pounds.
That’s a 0.8 pound loss this week.
So, the grand total for January was 4.4 pounds lost.
I’ll take it.
My goal for this upcoming week is to get back on the exercise bandwagon and avoid white flour.
Now please excuse my terrible Joey from Friends impression while I ask, “How you doin?”
