This week our Bilco basement door was installed, the first-floor decking was laid over the basement area, and the crawl spaces were excavated for the areas of the house that will not have the basement underneath them.
During the coming week, concrete will be poured into the crawl spaces and the cinder blocks will be laid.
I know getting the foundation done well is vital, but I can’t wait to have actual walls!
I’ve enjoyed following your blog about the house. We are looking into building the exact same one. Trying to decide the pros and cons of a pre manufactured house vs. stick house. I want to see the walls go up too!! You’ll have to keep us followers up to date on yours likes and dislikes and anything else that you think we would find interesting! đŸ™‚
