We have an Elf on the Shelf who visits our house every year. Our elf’s name is Chris T. Mas. That’s the name Nick gave him as a toddler. (If you have some how avoided knowing what that is, you can see it through my Amazon affiliate link here:Elf on the Shelf:A Christmas Tradition ) The elf sits on a shelf and watches the kids during the day, then at night he flies home to Santa to report what he saw, and in the morning he is in a new spot around the house. There is also a rhyming book that tells his story. Some families’ elves get very fancy and do lots of morning shenanigans, but our elf is pretty lazy.
